Registration is closed. We would like to remind ALL DONORS that please bring the postcard along with you on the 13th of June ‘09 to the Jurong Birdpark.
For each invitation card, you are entitled to purchase up to a maximum of 4 tickets at $8 each. These tickets can only be used on the event day.

i only have 2 complimentary tickets for me and my hubby so i need another two for my kids. may i know what is the special rate ticket for kids at 4 year old and 18 months? since we are not recommended to drive there, is Jurong Bird Park provide any pram for visitor baby like what Singapore Science Center do, if not it is quite difficult for us to bring the pram up to public transport? please advise

2 comlimentary tickets will be for me and my hubby but i still need to bring my two kids too. Please advise what will be the special rate ticket for kids at 4 years old and 18 months old? I am unable to go on that day but am giving my friend and his family to go. Can he take the tickets rather than me go pick the tickets up? Also, does baby need to purchse a ticket too? Can I do an earlier collection of tickets rather than getting them on that day since I am giving the tickets to my friend? I am purchasing additional 4 tickets.

There will be no blood donation drive on 13th june at the Bird Park. Its a day for blood donors to have fun and enjoy themselves at the bird park as part of World Blood Donor Day Celebration 2009.

You may bring along your sister or friend’s invitation postcard, present to the counter for the exchange. However, your sister or your friend will have to go onto the website as advised in the invitation postcard to register to confirm attendance of 2. This will help administration. Thank you.

1) Each invitation postcard entitles 2 complimentary entrance tickets only. Any additional tickets needed can be purchased at a special rate of $8 (at designated counter on site). Invitation postcard and special rate is only valid on 13th June 2009.
2) The special rate ticket applies to both adult and children.
3) Children below 3 years old, need not purchase entrance ticket.
4) Strollers and children wagons are on loan to Moms & Dads (N.B. Strollers & Wagons numbers are limited). Please check out rental service at http://www.birdpark.com.sg/visitorinfo/otherservices.html

The invitation is meant for the blood donor and a friend/family. Some from of check will be done. So the friend should be able to give the NRIC number of the blood donor when asked. This is to avoid “abuse”

For each invited donor, you are entitled to purchase a maximum of 4 tickets at the special price of $8. These tickets can only be used on 13th June 2009.
Jeron: As Joo Heng has mentioned in his 2nd June 2009 post, you would need to know the NRIC number of your uncle so that when asked at the registration counter at the entrance, you will be able to produce your uncle’s NRIC. This is to avoid people from accidentally picking up this postcard and claiming the tickets.’

I can only come to Jurong Bird Park after lunch, will the registration booth still availalbe.

Ric & Ban Chwee: There is very limited parking available on that day as we are expecting a total of 8,000 donors for the celebrations. The parking lot outside Jurong Birdpark is shared with the restaurant opposite the Birdpark. Therefore, we strongly advise participants to take public transport down to avoid disappointment.

Hi, following are some areas of concern. Appreciate for the clarification.
1) Will there be free chartered bus provided? If so, may I know the venue and schedule?
2) Food: a)For Muslim, is it “HALAL”. b)What’s the starting time for collection as last year(Zoo), there was not enough food catered for even though we came early. c)Will there be signages directing the route for collection of food clearly? (it was not last year)

Dear Blood Donors
This event is an appreciation for you donating blood voluntarily. Pls also bear in mind that Red Cross is a non-profit organisation. Hence, I am appalled that a number of you are demanding for food, refreshment, reserved car park lots, etc. Please be thankful that such event is being held to give us recognition when it is not their obligation. Remember this “To give is a virtue but to demand in return defeats the purpose.” So, please let us enjoy our donors day with the same purpose when we give blood. Thanks.
